Wedding Photographer Chester – Oddfellows

If we had to sum up this wedding in one word it would be fun! Our day began at the beautiful home of Laura’s lovely mum, Nancy and as soon as we arrived we knew it was going to be a brilliant day! We laughed from start to finish and were enjoying ourselves so much that the time for leaving for Chester to get to the church came around so quickly! Laura and her beautiful entourage travelled to Chester in two AMAZING VW camper vans and soon arrived at the church in the glorious sunshine.

We had arrived at the church a little earlier to meet up with Paul. It’s always a great time to introduce ourselves to people and especially those involved with conducting the ceremony.

The ceremony featured lots of laughs and readings from those closest to Laura and Paul. From here we walked over the round and through the park to head to the reception at the ever cool venue of Oddfellows in Chester.

Paul and Laura asked for a completely reportage, documentary approach for natural wedding photographs.  After some informal portraits as we wondered through the park to Oddfellows, the lovely Laura and Paul then enjoyed drinks and delicious canapés upstairs and out on the terrace with their loved ones and closest friends before going in to the wedding breakfast.

Speeches delivered by Laura’s mum, Nancy, Paul and the best man caused both tears and proper belly laughs. These are always one of our favourite parts of the day as we listen to stories and heartfelt words about our bride and groom (and often snigger at some of the tales the best man has to tell!)

The evening festivities for the guests were a mix of dancing and our super fun photobooth! We had such an amazing time at Laura and Paul’s Oddfellows wedding. Thank you so much for having us!  Please enjoy looking through some of our favourite photos from their Chester wedding.
