A venue I had to shoot during my career, and It really did live up to my expectations. This majestic venue, with its instantly recognisable pink facade, played host to a dream wedding that left everyone in awe.

Villa Ephrussi’s Storied Past

Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, affectionately known as “the pink palace,” boasts a rich history. Built by the Baroness Béatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild in the early 20th century, the villa is a masterpiece of French Riviera architecture. Surrounded by nine stunning gardens, each inspired by different regions and styles, it’s a testament to timeless beauty and elegance and the most perfect French Wedding Venue.

Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat: A Slice of Paradise

The villa is situated in the idyllic Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, a town renowned for its natural beauty and glamour. A Dream Wedding Come True

The bride had dreamt of her wedding at Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild for years, and that dream finally came to life. The excitement in the air was palpable, as the couple’s vision began to take shape. It was a pleasure to discuss their day with them along their planning journey.

Golden Hour Love

Our day began with photographing the bride at a penthouse near Nice, while the groom and his party prepared at the luxurious Four Seasons, Grand-Hotel du Cap-Ferrat. The couple decided on a “first look,” allowing us to capture stunning golden hour photographs in the villa’s gardens. The Spanish and Florentine gardens provided the perfect backdrop for these intimate moments.

A Waterside Ceremony

As the sun set, the couple exchanged vows amidst the stunning gardens, surrounded by family and friends from around the world. Personal touches and beautiful readings from the bridal party added a unique and heartwarming dimension to the ceremony. The first kiss was perfectly synchronised with the villa’s amazing water fountains, creating a truly magical atmosphere.

An Enchanting Wedding Reception

Following the ceremony, the couple and their guests enjoyed an intimate cocktail hour before sitting down for their wedding breakfast. Each course was punctuated by heartfelt speeches and mesmerizing fire-dancing performances, all set against the backdrop of the Villa’s magnificent architecture.

The couple cut their cake with guests holding sparklers, followed by their first dance. The night was filled with laughter, dancing, and unforgettable memories.
