We had the privilege of photographing R & M’s destination wedding in St Andrews, Scotland, and it was fantastic experience filled with wonderful people. R & M had to reschedule their wedding day due to covid lockdowns, but it was well worth the wait!
R & M chose Scotland as their destination wedding location as they both attended university in St Andrews, making it the perfect location for them to tie the knot. The groom looked perfect in his traditional kilt, while the bride looked stunning in her simple yet elegant wedding dress by designer Charlie Brear.
Wedding Ceremony at St Salvator’s Chapel in St Andrews
The wedding ceremony took place at the historic St Salvator’s Chapel, which dates back to the fifteenth century. It has an interesting history and is known for its beautiful stained-glass windows and intricate stonework. It was a beautiful and intimate ceremony, with the couple surrounded by family and friends in this beautiful setting. After the ceremony, we took some stunning photographs in the St Salvator’s Quad, which was perfect for wedding photography. The beautiful architecture of the buildings created a romantic and classic backdrop for the couple’s portraits and formal family group photographs.
