This is the beautiful Silverholme wedding of Becky & Dave. Our day started by travelling to Becky’s parents’ fabulous holiday home in the Lake District. While Mum & Dad were busy decorating the wedding car with white ribbons, we photographed Becky’s beautiful Pronovias dress and bridal details. Shortly after, Becky and the girls arrived back from the hairdressers. The champagne started flowing and an excited bride, her bridesmaids – in their personalised wedding hoodies – and parents’ spent time together getting ready, eating breakfast and laughing a lot!
Tobiah headed off to meet up with Dave and his groomsmen at the pub before heading to the ceremony which was held at Hawkshead church. Hawkshead church is in such a stunning setting overlooking the village and surrounding fells. After the ceremony it was on to Silverholme…
Silverholme on the Graythwaite Estate in the Lake District, Cumbria is a beautiful wedding venue. Silverholme has amazing uninterrupted views overlooking Lake Windermere. The weather was perfectly sunny for the guests to enjoy the outdoor drinks reception and 9-hole mini golf course set up on the lawn. The day was a pleasure to be a part of and such good fun. The marquee where the guests ate, drank and danced was full of lovely little touches. From stunning floral centrepieces to the wedding favours, which were little tipples of Limoncello and Single Malt whiskey, in medicine bottles – how cool! The main meal for the wedding breakfast involved a nominated guest from each table getting suited and booted in a chef’s hat and apron with carving knives to serve up roasted pork to the rest on their table. Everyone made us feel so welcome and we enjoyed ourselves immensely.
We had such a lovely day, here are just a few of our favourite photos…
