Sarah & Nick – Peckforton Castle Wedding
This is the wonderful wedding of Sarah & Nick who chose the stunning wedding venue of Peckforton Castle in Tarporley, Cheshire to say “I do”. Each time we have visited Peckforton Castle to photograph a wedding here we have always been welcomed by their lovely, attentive staff who ensure everything runs perfectly. When we arrived to photograph Sarah & Nick’s wedding it was no different. We were taken up to Sarah’s stunning suite where the bridal preparations were in full swing – sipping champagne, bridesmaids laughing and getting ready together and the lovely bride keeping calm and enjoying every minute of it!
Tobiah went off to meet up with Nick and his groomsmen as they were getting suited up and trying not to cause any injuries whilst attaching boutonnieres and once Sarah made her finishing touches it was time for her younger sister to help her into her beautiful dress.
The ceremony was perfect – full of emotion and smiles and held in the very grand Great Hall at Peckforton which has to be one of our favourite ceremony locations. After they happy couple exchanged their wedding rings and walked back up the aisle as Mr & Mrs it was time for fizz and canapés in the gallery.
We headed into the beautiful grounds of Peckforton after Sarah & Nick had spent time chatting and laughing with guests. Armed with a pair of our emergency wellies and a couple of umbrellas!
The wedding breakfast and speeches was held in the Drawing Room and then it was time to hit the dancefloor back in the Great Hall. It was looking amazing thanks to the fabulous Hipswing Events who had lit the room elegantly. Some of the guests were shooting some impressive shapes but particularly one gentleman who did THE best Tina Turner impression we’ve ever seen!
