This is the wonderfully fun Papakata Tipi wedding of Russ & Kat. We had previously met up with Russell & Katherine in London for their pre-wedding shoot. This time we met up north in sunny Yorkshire. Russ & Kat got married at Low Farm and the day ran perfectly thanks to the team at Weddings & Wellies from Norristhorpe in West Yorkshire.
Russell and Kat registered their marriage before the wedding so that they could have a lovely outdoor ceremony that was personalised to them. They wrote every detail of their wedding ceremony which was conducted by their close friend so that it was really special and personal to them.
A Papakata Tipi wedding is so relaxed and always appeals to couples looking for something a little different for their wedding reception venue. Russ & Kat decorated the Papakata Tipi with lovely details to really complete the wedding.
Kat had previously described to us when we met in London the festival vibe that they wanted for their special day. Wed-Fest was certainly achieved! In the evening instead of a buffet they had mini street food stalls set up. With choice from crepes to real wood-baked pizza which the guests loved. They also had a really cool VW camper van photobooth set up around the edge of a chillout zone cover with faux fur skins and benches. Guests enjoyed amazing live music from the super talented Groove Anatomy and the dance floor was packed!
Here are just a few of our favourites photographs from their amazing Papakata wedding day!
