Pablo & Chloe Peckforton Castle Wedding
Wow, where do I begin?! This was our first wedding of 2023 and what a special wedding it was as Pablo & Chloe celebrated their “Spanglish wedding day” with family and friends.
Pablo is originally from Spain and it is testament to what a wonderful guy he is that so many friends and family made the trip to be part of their special day. Those guys sure know how to party!
The day started in Wilmslow as Chloe & her bridesmaids got ready at the family home. Pablo and his family also got ready near Wilmslow before they head to St Bartholomew’s church for the wedding ceremony.
The look on Pablo’s face when he first saw Chloe was something special. The ceremony was full of intimate moments and I particularly loved the “Las Arras” where the bride and groom share 13 coins known as arras or unity coins. This represents their commitment to sharing the goods they have and will have in their future together.
After the wedding ceremony Pablo & Chloe had a LOT of confetti which we absolutely love as it always makes for fun photos.
Peckforton Castle Winter Wedding Reception
After the church ceremony then travelled to Peckforton Castle for the wedding reception. Peckforton really is special, and the guests certainly enjoyed that wow moment as they arrived and took in the majesty of the castle.
I absolutely love how cosy winter weddings are, and although the castle can be dark in winter I think it really adds a beautiful atmosphere to the photographs and feel of the day.
As the day and night unfolded we enjoyed the speeches which all of the speakers really delivered. Pablo’s speech was one of the most touching speeches I have ever heard a Groom give. As you can tell from the photographs there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
After the wedding breakfast guests enjoyed a little fun with sparklers before the Margarita’s and dancing began. They sure knew how to party and danced the night away in the fabulous great hall at Peckforton.
