Alice & Paul
Last weekend we photographed the beautiful wedding of Alice & Paul at Iscoyd Park on the border of North Wales, Shropshire and Cheshire. Iscoyd Park is such a stunning and impressive venue. It also has some of the most attentive, kind and genuinely lovely staff we have ever worked alongside.
We had such a brilliant day and it was such an honour to photograph Alice & Paul’s wedding. We also got to see some of our previous brides and grooms too! I particularly loved the beautiful Jenny Packham Wedding Dress & Acacia 2 headdress. Not to mention the Jimmy Choos!
Alice and her bridesmaids got ready at Willington Lodge. This is a luxurious and lovingly restored Georgian house in Whitchurch, Shropshire. The Morris family were so welcoming. All the guests that had stayed there were made to feel right at home. It was the perfect location for travelling to Iscoyd which is only a short drive away. There was such a happy atmosphere during the morning, which carried on throughout the day.
After we had spent some time photographing Alice’s hair and makeup here it was on to Iscoyd Park. Alice and the bridesmaids were using one of the beautiful suites to get dressed here and do some final touch ups. I stayed with the ladies while Tobiah went to find a nervous Paul!
The ceremony was held in the light and elegant Garden Room. After the ceremony it was champagne and canapé time! The drinks were served in the Drawing Room and lots of guests then came outside to enjoy the sunshine.
Alice & Paul were such a pleasure to photograph and we thoroughly enjoyed being a part of their day. After we had spent some time taking relaxed portraits of the happy couple in the gardens we all headed to the marquee for speeches and wedding breakfast. Alice & Paul had requested a photo booth too – an opportunity for some great fun and informal photographs – it was awesome!
