This is the wonderful wedding of Imran & Henna that we photographed last weekend at the amazing Hedsor House in Taplow, Buckinghamshire. Hedsor House is the perfect wedding venue with beautiful, immaculate grounds and an amazing house to have your wedding reception. Many films have been produced at Hedsor and you can certainly see why.
We arrived at Hedsor nice and early to spend time exploring the grounds and choosing locations to create some beautiful photographs. We were spoilt for choice! Hedsor House is beautiful inside and out, just like our stunning couple. We met Henna upstairs getting ready with her mum and sisters, she was feeling a little nervous, as most brides do, but was kept calm by having her family around. Henna looked stunning in her fabulous red outfit adorned with lots of traditional jewellery. We took some portraits of Henna as she waited for their guests to arrive at Hedsor.
Guests arrived to the sound of bagpipes being played by a tartan-clad piper on the front steps. Henna and her family are from Scotland so it seemed right to bring a little bit of Scotland to Buckinghamshire! Imran soon arrived with his entourage and after a few portraits it was time for the ceremonies. Imran & Henna, surrounded by their families and friends held traditional Nikkah ceremonies in the impressive rooms at Hedsor before joining their guests together for a feast of delicious Asian cuisine.
We headed out into the grounds for some photographs and a little wander in the sunshine. We headed to an amazing spot we had founded on our earlier scout. It was a bit of a walk so whilst Tobiah and Imran strolled down together along with the videographers, Henna and I jumped in our car and took it down the driveway to meet the boys!
