This is the beautiful Gorton Monastery wedding of Ben & Lauren which we had the privilege of sharing with them on Saturday.  We travelled that morning to Ben’s parents’ home in Bramhall, Cheshire.  Here we met Lauren along with her mum, future mother-in-law and bridesmaids.  Lauren is one of the nicest people we have ever met.  We were made to feel right at home by Ben’s mum Wendy and loved spending time with the skilled and vibrant ladies who make up the excellent team at Flossy & Leigh.  The effervescent Phoebe is like no-one else.  She interacts with clients in a way that makes them feel relaxed, beautiful and like a million dollars.  Both her and Aimee have a real talent and made everyone look breath-taking.

Ben & Lauren had chosen a Hollywood theme for their wedding.  When we arrived at the Monastery for the ceremony it looked unbelievable.  The white rose flower displays from the superbly gifted ladies at Didsbury Flower Lounge lined the white-carpet aisle.  Lauren’s brother walked her down the aisle towards Ben; who was looking very dapper in a black tuxedo.

After the ceremony guests and the new Mr & Mrs enjoyed champagne in the stunning corridors of this Victorian Monastery.  After portraits with family and our lovely couple we headed in for the wedding breakfast and speeches.  Here we could really see the Hollywood theme coming through! Tables were appropriately named and name cards held by mini-clipboards!  Candelabras from the ceremony formed the centrepieces and created a magnificent ambience as the night set in.
