Charlotte & Tom – Iscoyd Park
Lucky us to be back in one of favourite venues, Iscoyd Park for back to back weddings! Last weekend we were here for the beautiful summer wedding of Hollie & Adam, this weekend it was Tom & Charlotte’s turn! From the moment we met Charlotte at one of the Iscoyd Park Open Days, we instantly clicked. As the day approached, final meetings over Skype and all of the plans in place, the day had arrived.
We were super excited to get started and work alongside our friends and some true professionals, Maxine Smith, make-up artist extraordinaire and Vicky M, the queen of hair! Maxine had brought along the very lovely Sophie Frulli who was on bridesmaids make-up for the day. It was our first time working with Sophie but we certainly hope it’s not the last.
Our gorgeous bride, Charlotte was soaking up every single moment. Charlotte was the perfect reminder that weddings are about feelings and connections, people and emotion. The relaxed atmosphere and sheer joy of the day continued right through to us saying goodbye from both Charlotte and Tom, we had the best time with both of them and their families. But for now, let’s go back to the part when the boys arrived! Tom and his groomsmen and Best Man, Sam, arrived from Withington Lodge to get ready. Charlotte had left a gift in his room for the arrival which was really sweet. Tobiah stayed across the landing with the gents while Laura continued capturing the beautiful ladies in the bridal suite. The morning whizzed by so quickly and it was soon time for the ceremony. Another beautiful ceremony and wedding, even with the registrar hinting that she would marry Tom if Charlotte didn’t! The rest of the day followed with drinks on the lawns, croquet and lots of laughter. We stole Charlotte and Tom away for some portraits before it was time to sit down for the wedding breakfast.
