Nigerian Wedding Photographer
Mix two amazing people, their equally fabulous families, cultures, add their love for each other and you get two epic days of happiness, laughter and some wonderful memories. We loved all of the traditional Nigerian wedding outfits our bride and groom wore for their marriage at Crewe Registry Office before heading over to the fabulous Cheshire wedding venue, Rookery Hall.
Our day began at the bride’s parents’ home, which to say was a hive of activity would be an understatement! With our couple set to host all of their family and friends here the following day, there was much to be done. Thankfully, amongst the searches for shoes and making sure someone had the wedding rings, our bride was able to get ready with the help of her lovely mum and her very-soon-to-be mother-in-law. Extra help was needed when getting into her traditional Nigerian outfit and especially with the hat!
Tobiah went between the bride and groom’s preparations that morning whilst Laura mostly stayed with the bride and attempted a few photos of the family dogs too; who were more than a little shy!
It was soon time to go to Crewe for the ceremony. We all shared a laugh as our bride’s mum handed over the £4, in pound coins, to one of the ladies conducting the ceremony, for the marriage certificate and then the ceremony began! In what seemed like only a heartbeat, vows had been made and rings exchanged. From here we all drove across to the beautiful Rookery Hall for an intimate lunch and a few family photographs.
After some relaxed portraits of the newlyweds, the family enjoyed canapés and champagne on the terrace. It was at this point we said goodbye and headed back home to get ready for the following day – their wonderful garden party wedding. We can’t wait to share the photos of their outdoor garden wedding ceremony and marquee reception very soon.
